Being a mom in our generation is a tough gig. As we stumble along the path of motherhood, injuring our backs, sponging the spit-up off our clothes and constantly wondering “What’s that smell?” who do we turn to for parenting advice? Women used to be surrounded by wise experienced grandmothers, aunties and neighbors who showed them the ropes. These days it’s rare for us to have such close-knit communities and this is why a rookie mom needs her comrades. A fellow mom knows best how challenging the role is. A fellow mom understands that many aspects of raising a little one are anxiety-provoking or confusing. Most importantly a fellow mom will offer honest, down-to-earth advice.

Giant bags and purses are brilliant in that they are uber accommodating for the endless snacks, diapers, hats, etc. we need in order to be prepared at all times. The drawback? One aching shoulder. So when we first heard about Vapurs, we were tickled silly with delight. Almost weightless, Vapurs represent a brilliant innovation in re-usable water bottles.

With the sunshine finally beaming down in all its glory, we want to share with you some of our favorite sunscreens for kids (and adults too!). We’ll also take a moment to point out some sunscreens you should simply walk on by. Although the labelling and words might sound enticing, some sunscreens simply aren’t the best for rubbing into the skin.
