Living here in the beautiful Okanagan, Marghanita was inspired by watching her own children at one with nature chasing butterflies and dragonflies. Outdoor play with her family sparked the idea for Little Humbugs – a way to connect kids to nature.
The Little Humbugs figures are based on Marghanita’s award winning book series that involves children on a quest to protect our natural world. She believes that if we instill a love of nature in children, they will want to protect it.
By encouraging kids to go outside and discover nature, the Little Humbugs characters provide positive role models for children. There’s Lucy the Bird Keeper, Choloe the Gardnere, Flint the Dragonfly Boy and more. To see the adorable characters check out the Little Humbugs website.
