How much does the magazine cost?
Okanagan Child is available free of charge to anyone and everyone. The “priceless” publication is supported by our advertising partners who are featured in each issue, as well as on our resources page on the website.

How often is the magazine published?
Okanagan Child is a quarterly publication. As each new season approaches, a new issue of Okanagan Child will appear.

Where can I find a copy?
Okanagan Child will be available in both a print edition and a digital on-line version.

Please see our ‘Drop Locations’ page for information on where to obtain a paper copy of Okanagan Child. The magazine will be available on exit racks at the listed locations. We will be updating this list as we grow so please feel free to check back regularly.

Can I subscribe to Okanagan Child?
You may subscribe to the digital version of our magazine for no charge. Simply sign up via the link at the top right of your screen.

If you would like a paper copy of the magazine sent directly to your home, we are happy to provide subscription service for a cost of $15 per year. The charge covers the printing and mailing costs of four issues. If you would like to subscribe, please write a $12 cheque payable to Bellhop Media Inc. and send it to the following address:

Be sure to include your full name, mailing address and contact phone number. Please also indicate when you would like your subscription to start (Fall 2009, Winter 2010, Spring 2010, Summer 2010).

What kind of editorial will the magazine feature?
Okanagan Child will feature content on a variety of topics including parenting, green living, finances, relationships and health. Some articles will focus on general content; others will focus on developmental stages ranging from pregnancy to the teen years. Experts in the field write many of the articles. We strive to include something for everyone and each article is hand-selected to ensure high quality content.

Do you accept article submissions from the local community?
Yes, we welcome unsolicited articles. If you work in a field (e.g., nutritionist, counsellor, etc.) relevant to Okanagan Child you may e-mail your submission to submissions@okanaganchild.com or send it by regular mail to this address:

Submissions should be 300 – 1000 words maximum and include a one to two sentence bio that tells readers about yourself, including your contact information if relevant. Please type your submission and note at the top of the first page your full name, e-mail address, phone number and the word count. Please note that submissions may be edited for length and grammar.
